Founding Week: What We Shipped, and What's Next

Update · 8 August 2026Airwallex has since shipped. This is a record of founding week, so it is left as written. Where it says “we're building Airwallex as a third rail”, that build finished — the rail is live.
Update · 10 August 2026The price, the seat count and the dates below are the ones that were live during founding week. That window opened 28 July and closed on 2 August. Founding membership is still on sale, now at $295 one-time with no seat cap and no published close date — read the offer terms in this post as a record of that week, not as the deal on sale today.
TL;DR

The founding cart opens Tuesday, July 28 and closes Saturday, August 1 — $195 one-time, 0% platform fees for life, 200 seats. This is the honest ledger: what's live today (Stripe and PayPal on your own account, Stripe Tax, sequential invoices, sale-notification emails, 40+ MCP tools) and what's genuinely still coming (Airwallex, and automatic B2B reverse charge). No vaporware in the "live" column.

Founding week is here. The cart opens Tuesday, July 28 and closes Saturday, August 1. Before I ask anyone to buy, I want to lay out plainly what you're actually getting on day one versus what's on the way — because the fastest way to lose trust with a payments product is to blur that line. So here's the ledger, split into two honest columns.

Live today

Everything in this section works right now, on your own account:

That's a real, working store your agent can run today. It's the same machinery our own founding checkout runs on — we dogfood it. The full picture is on the use cases page.

What's next — the honest roadmap

These are the two big things I'm most excited about, and neither is live yet. I'd rather you buy knowing exactly that.

Airwallex, a third payment rail

For merchants who bill across currencies or want settlement native to the Asia-Pacific, we're building Airwallex as a third rail alongside Stripe and PayPal — same first-party model, where you'd bring your own account keys and the money settles with you. We've built and sandbox-validated the core of it, but it's on a separate track finishing real-card and webhook validation. You can't connect Airwallex today. It rolls out to founding members after that validation — it's the next rail, not a current one.

Automatic B2B reverse charge

Selling to registered businesses across borders usually means you shouldn't charge tax at all — the buyer accounts for it. Doing that safely, per region, with real tax-number validation, is on the roadmap as part of the optional Worldwide Tax & Affiliates Pack. It is coming, not shipped. I wrote up the whole problem and our approach in Reverse Charge for B2B, Without the Headache. What's live today is real tax and compliant invoices; the per-region reverse-charge modes are what we're building next.

A note on the pack itself: affiliates and the advanced tax features live in the optional +$95 Worldwide Tax & Affiliates Pack, not the base membership. I mention that here so the two columns stay honest — the base membership is the rails, tax at checkout, invoices, notifications, and the 40+ MCP tools.

Why buy now

That first founding window was capped and dated, and it closed on 2 August. Founding has since reopened: $295 one-time for lifetime access with 0% platform fees, forever, with no seat cap and no published close date. Standard pricing is Free ($0 + 3%) or Pro ($79/mo + 0.5%), and founding members simply never pay a platform fee again. You're buying a working product today and a front-row seat for everything in the "next" column as it ships.

Founding member: fee-free for life.

$295 one-time locks in lifetime access and 0% GoCushy platform fees for life — you still pay only your processor's standard rate. Optional Worldwide Tax & Affiliates Pack, +$95.

Open now — no seat cap and no published close date. One payment, not a subscription, with a 30-day refund.

What's live is live; what's next is honestly next. If that's the way you want a payments partner to talk to you, take a founding seat on the founding offer.
