Launch week

Launch-Week Sandpaper: Short Links, Custom Upsells, Rail Badges, Honest Analytics

TL;DR

The small stuff that shipped during launch week, in one honest list: branded cushy.link short links, customizable upsell pages down to the button labels, payment-rail badges on every order, per-item refunds from the dashboard — and a fix to our own analytics, because measuring honestly is part of selling honestly. Cart closes tomorrow night, Saturday, August 1 at 11:59pm ET.

Launch weeks generate two kinds of work: the headline features, and the sandpaper — small things that make the product feel finished. This week had plenty of sandpaper. Here's what shipped, none of it vaporware:

cushy.link — branded short links

Checkout links now come branded: cushy.link/yourcode instead of a long URL. Your agent gets them automatically when it shares a checkout link, they're easy to read out loud on a webinar, and they 302 straight to the real, server-verified checkout.

Upsell pages, yours down to the buttons

The post-purchase one-click upsell page is now fully customizable — headline, body, and both button labels. If "Yes — add coaching" and "No thanks, I'll pass" aren't your voice, change them in the dashboard or ask your agent. Small field, real conversion lever.

Rail badges on every order

Orders in the dashboard now wear their payment rail — Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex, USDC — on the table and in the order dialog. When you run more than one rail, "which rail was this?" shouldn't require detective work.

Refund exactly what needs refunding

Per-transaction refunds are live in the dashboard: refund the upsell but keep the main order, or the reverse. Partial situations happen; the tooling now matches reality.

We fixed our own measurement

An honest one to close: while building conversion tracking for merchants, we audited our own analytics and found two bugs — our checkout views were being recorded as purchase-type events in two analytics tools, and our thank-you page could fire duplicate purchase events on refresh. Both fixed, with proper event naming and order-level dedup. We tell you when your numbers are wrong; it'd be strange not to hold our own to the same rule.

Doors close tomorrow night.
